How to define in words a woman who is the owner of her own story!? Mary Martin London is this woman. She is eccentric, dynamic and inspiring. Mary is a contagious and absolutely adorable woman. She is currently a fashion icon in London. Her creations are amazing, with extreme good taste, with defined models, vibrant colors that refer to the magic that is printed in the brand of the same name, MML – Mary Martin London. For me it's a luxury to be able to contemplate her creations that make the eyes of the world pop out when her looks are on Red Carpet. Mary Martin London defines herself as a fashion artist in her own words she says; “I care passionately about sustainability, the environment, climate emergencies and nature.” This in fact reflects her great passion for fashion, which makes MML create materials made for a living. Mary Martin London has a great interest in Africa, that is, in her creations she gives us the feeling that we are in fact in Africa. She truly signs the African spirit, in a rescue of ancestral affective memory. Her collections reflect this feeling of ancestral rescue. Mary Martin London is a fashion designer, a fashion artist, a researcher, who designs her own prints. For her first menswear collection, she designed a print called Slaves in the Trees. Where she researched everything about the Himba tribe in Namibia and found that they use a lot of orange paint in their face and mud in their hair. Mary defined colors in front of her sensations in which Orange is for the vibration of the earth and black is for the invisible absent elements. Orange represents the sun, external happiness she says. In addition to the engravings it also shows the suffering inflicted during the slave trade. Another big milestone in the career of this great stylist is present, in the Queen of Africa dress, which is an aesthetic interpretation of the countryside: the color of this dress represents brown for earth, green for grass and yellow for sunshine. The Cecil the Lion dress came about when she heard the tragic story from Zimbabwe about a lion mutilated and killed by a recreational hunter. The dress had layers of tulle around the neck and shoulders that represented Cecil's mane. The back of the dress has the silkiness and thinness of a lion's body. Many of her creations are historically inspired that relate to the sustainable use of recycled materials and reimagining vintage pieces. Mary Martin London remains passionate about sustainability, the environment, climate emergencies, nature and, of course, Africa. That increasingly drives the creative being that is inside, expanding your imagination and skills. She makes clothes to last: they represent the antithesis of disposable culture. Mary Martin London aims to make the world a better, more exciting and more caring place for current and future generations. Eliana Oliveira – Quem é Mary Martin London?
MML – Mary Martin London é uma artista de moda que começou uma educação tardia na vida.
Eliana Oliveira - Who is Mary Martin London?
MML - Is a fashion artist who started a late education in life.
Eliana Oliveira – Mary você teve anos de sucesso na indústria da música como vocalista e gestora artística. Como foi fazer essa transição para a indústria da moda?
MML – Minha filha Celetia cantava e escrevia desde jovem, ela assinou com a Mowtown Records aos 14 anos. Eu a administrei até o final da adolescência e então ela quis resolver as coisas por si mesma, é quando eu queria me concentrar em minha própria vida.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary you have had years of success in the music industry as a vocalist and artistic manager. What was it like to make this transition into the fashion industry?
MML – My daughter Celetia was singing and writting from a young age she had been signed to Mowtown Records at the age of 14. I managed her up until she was in her late teens and then she wanted to work things out for herself thats when I wanted to focus on my own life.

Eliana Oliveira – Sua história começou na indústria musical. Você acha que valeu apena passar do show musical para os bastidores da moda?
MML – Definitivamente, é minha vida, minha moda, minha criatividade, faz uma grande diferença, pois eu nunca teria encontrado minha criatividade ou me educado se não tivesse deixado o negócio da música.
Eliana Oliveira - His story started in the music industry. Do you feel it was worth the move from the musical show to the backstage of fashion?
MML – Most definately, its my life my fashion my creativity it makes a big difference as I would have never found my creativity or educated myself if I would have not left the music bussiness.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary através do seu trabalho, reconheço o grande prestígio que conquistou e tem por trabalhar com artistas internacionais de renome como Susie e The Banches, Loose Ends, Frankie Paul, Jazz B entre outros. Conte- me um pouco sobre essa experiência?
MML – Conheci Jazzi B quando ele trabalhava no mercado de Camden, ele vendia meus discos e acabei indo para o estúdio com ele mas não deu certo, Susie e os Banches que costumo fazer backing vocals em japonês foi tão engraçado quanto eles dividiriam em inglês para eu entender foi uma ótima experiência. Eu e Carl do Loose Ends costumava trabalhar na música juntos antes de se juntar à banda e mais tarde fez algumas faixas para mim, para ajudar minha carreira em um negócio da música.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary, through your work, I recognize the great prestige you have achieved and have by working with renowned international artists such as Susie and The Banches, Loose Ends, Frankie Paul, Jazz B among others. Tell me a little about this experience?
MML – I met Jazzi B when he was working in Camden market he use to sell my records and I ended up going to the studio with him but that did not work out, Susie and the Banches I use to do backing vocals in japanees it was so funny as they would break it down in English for me to understand a great experience.Myself and Carl from loose Ends use to work in music togeather before he joined the band and later on made a couple of tracks for me to help my carea in the music bussiness.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary você foi a primeira mulher britânica a assinar com a Profiles nos Estados Unidos. Como foi?
MML – Eu assinei com Morgan Khans Brother ele obteve meu disco licenciado lá. Eu nunca fui para a América, mas minha música foi muito bem.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary you were the first British woman to be signed to Profiles in the US. How was it?
MML – I was signed to Morgan Khans Brother he got my record licenced over there I never actually went to america but my track did really well.

Eliana Oliveira – Como foi receber o prêmio especial de excelência BEFFTA (Black Entertainment e Film Fashion Television and Arts)?
MML – Fiquei absolutamente honrada em recebê-lo. Aconteceu tão rápido que eu tinha acabado de começar a criar as roupas e ficou uma loucura depois que eu estava recebendo prêmios a cada dois meses, Best Designer Scotland, prêmio de Birmingham.
Eliana Oliveira - What was it like to receive the BEFFTA (Black Entertainment and Film Fashion Television and Arts) special award for excellence?
MML – I was absolutely honored to recieve it It happened so fast I had just started to create the clothes and it went crazy after that i was recieving awads every other month best designer Scotland, insperational award from Birmingham. And it went on and on and on.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary me conta sobre ter sido homenageada como “Melhor Design” no Mercedes Benz Festival em Accra, Gana?
MML – Fui para Gana, Accra enquanto estudava meu HND em 2014. Recebi um prêmio de melhor designer da Global Ovation na África naquele ano. Fiquei totalmente embriagada.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary tell me about being honored as "Best Design" at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival in Accra, Ghana?
MML – I went to Ghana Accra while studying my HND in 2014 I recieved a award from Global Ovation best designer in Africa that year I was totaly overwelmbed.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary ter seus looks no tapete vermelho é de fato, consolidar a marca Mary Martin London no mundialmente?
MML – Ter meu vestido no tapete vermelho certamente destacou minhas criações em grande estilo.
Eliana Oliveira - Is Mary having her looks on the red carpet in fact consolidating the Mary Martin London brand worldwide?
MML – Having my dressed on the red carpet has certainly highlighted my creations in a big way.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary como foi que a moda africana chegou em Londres?
MML – A marca AFWL (África Fashion Week London) já está sediada em Londres, e devida pela Princesa Ronke e seu irmão ambos da Nigéria.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary how did African fashion come to London?
MML – The brand AFWL is already based in london its owed by Princess Ronke and her brother both from Nigeria

Eliana Oliveira – O que significa a semana de moda africana em Londres?
MML – Significa que a moda negra se destaca em grande escala. Se você apresentar seu trabalho original, ela se tornará viral, o que o mundo está procurando. Recentemente, fiz a headliner da AFWL e tinha algumas páginas na Vangard na Nigéria e em algumas britânicas, mas agradeço a AFWL, foi uma honra ser manchete este ano.
Eliana Oliveira - What does African fashion week in London mean?
MML – It means Black fashion gets hightlighted in a big was you get to present your original work it goes viral the world is looking I recently headligned AFWL and had a few pages in the Vangard in Nigeria and a few british magazines but I appreciate AFWL its was a honor to headline this year.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary em sua entrevista à BBC você prestou uma bela homenagem a Cecil, o Leão do Zimbábue famoso por sua juba. Como foi este processo de criação?
MML – Fiquei profundamente chateada com a história de Cecil. A morte do Leão inspira designer na África Fashion Week Londres. HuffPost Uk (huffingtonpost.co.uk) Era chamado de vestido memorial tributo a Cecil o Leão. Coloquei o tecido de tule no peito do vestido para representar o Leão principal, tule e lantejoulas como a textura do corpo dos leões era tudo preto porque o Leão já estava morto era um finlandês incrível.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary in your BBC interview you paid a beautiful tribute to Cecil, the Lion of Zimbabwe famous for his mane. How was this creation process?
MML – I was deeply upset at the story of cecil the lion Cecil The Lion's Death Inspires Designer At Africa Fashion Week London | HuffPost UK (huffingtonpost.co.uk)
It was called the memorial dress tribute to cecil the lion i put the tule fabric on the chest of the dress to represent the lions main, tule and the sequin as the texture of the lions bodiy it was all black as the lion was now deceased it was an amazing finnish.

Eliana Oliveira – Você considera a África uma grande inspiração em todo o seu processo criativo?
MML – Somos todos africanos de dentro da pátria, eu chamo isso. Meu tudo em todo o início da criação ‘Estou muito inspirada pelo nome África’.
Eliana Oliveira - Do you consider Africa a great inspiration in your entire creative process?
MML – We are all African from within the Motherland I call it.my all in all the begining of creation’I am greatly inspired by the Name Africa.

Eliana Oliveira – O que a África representa para você?
MML – O centro da terra de onde vêm todos os recursos para alimentar o mundo e deixar o planeta funcionar.
Eliana Oliveira - What does Africa mean to you?
MML – The center of the earth were all resourses come from to feed the world and let the planet run.

Eliana Oliveira – Você trabalha com vários profissionais ao redor do mundo. Isso facilita na criação de uma linha única e exclusiva?
MML – Eu costumo sonhar ou tenho um tema que cortei da minha cabeça. Eu estilo livre todo o processo é diferente da maneira normal como você é ensinado. Eu gosto de criar e gosto de ser uma líder da moda.
Eliana Oliveira - You work with many professionals around the world. Does it make it easier to create a unique and exclusive line?
MML – I usually dream or have a theme I cut from my head I free style the whole proccess is diffrent from the normal way you are taught I like to create and i like to be a leader of fashion.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary você é pioneira em trazer a moda africana para Londres. Como você se sente com tamanha responsabilidade?
MML – Tenho orgulho de mostrar Creative Fashion e coloca-la no mapa. African Fashion me inspira totalmente diferente do mundo ocidental. Muitas pessoas vão à África para se inspirar, lindo que o mundo deveria, exceto que sem a moda africana não haveria inspiração. Eu quero mostrar a moda criativa do MML ao mais alto nível para mostrar ao mundo que a moda não tem cor, apenas, exceto a beleza da moda.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary you are a pioneer in bringing African fashion to London. How do you feel with such responsibility?
MML – I feel proud to show Creative Fashion and put it on the map African Fashion it inspires me its totally diffrerent to the western world many people go to Africa to get inspired it beautiful the world should except that without African fashion there would be no inspiration I want to show MML creative fashion to the highest level to show the world that fashion has no colour so just except the beauty of fashion.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary para mim você sempre teve uma mente criativa. Passar pela LCCA (London College Of Contemporary Arts) Moda/ Têxtil / Graduação / Méritos e UEL (Bacharelado em Artes da University of East London BA / Hons – Moda / Têxtil. Você aprimorou ainda mais o seu talento, dando-lhe o suporte para o aprendizado?
MML – O talento sempre esteve lá teve muito a ver com a minha educação não ter nenhuma escolaridade e ter que resolver tudo sozinha, se eu tivesse instruções de alguma coisa eu jogaria na lata de lixo e sempre consegui resolver se fosse uma cadeira, wallunits qualquer coisa.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary to me you always had a creative mind. Going through LCCA (London College Of Contemporary Arts) Fashion / Textile / Graduate / Merits and UEL (University Of East London Bachelor Of Arts BA / Hons - Fashion / Textile. Did you further enhance your talent, giving you the support of learning?
MML – the talent was always there it had a lot to do with my upbringing not having any schooling and having to work everything out by myself, if i had instructions with anything I would throw it in the dustbin and i always managed to work things out wether it was a chair, wallunits anything.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary aqui no Brasil no dia 20 de novembro é o Dia da Consciência Negra. O que uma data comemorativa na história negra significa para você?
MML – É um momento de comemorar e saudar os escravos e todos aqueles negros que lutaram por nós todos. Aqueles negros os inventores que inventaram muita tecnologia primitiva que é usada até hoje, a lâmpada, semáforo, primeiro sangue branco, penso e assim por diante.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary here in Brazil on November 20th is Black Consciousness Day. What does a commemorative date in Black history mean to you?
MML – Its a time to Celebrate and raise a salute to the slaves and all those Black people that fought for us all those black people the inventers who invented a lot of early technology that is used even today the light bulb, trafic lights, first blood bank. pen and so on.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary dentro da alta costura você tem sua assinatura no design exclusivo sob medida. Você pode falar mais sobre essa criação personalizada?
MML – Eu sonho uma criação, sua criança para mim é um novo bebê que eu vou amar sua beleza para além do seu puro amor é assim que eu crio coture haute.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary inside the haute couture you have your signature in the unique bespoke design. Can you talk more about this custom creation?
MML –I dream a creation its a child to me its a new baby that i am going to love its beyond beauty its pure love this is how I create haute coture.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary você foi a grande estrela do África Fashion Week London. Como é obter este reconhecimento publicamente?
MML – É como o céu e a terra criados. Agradeço ao meu Pai Celestial por abençoar minhas mãos.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary you were the big star of Africa Fashion Week London. What is it like to get this recognition publicly?
MML – Its like heaven and earth created. I thank my heavenly father for blessing my hands

Eliana Oliveira – Se você fosse escolher uma cor. Qual seria a cor da identidade da marca Mary Martin London?
MML – Preto e branco / unidade.
Eliana Oliveira - If you were to choose a color. What color would be the Mary Martin London brand identity?
MML – Black and white / unity.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary na Lifestyles Magazine América você foi apresentada ao mercado americano e canadense. Como uma grande e respeitada design de moda. Você imaginou que um dia este reconhecimento também seria possível? Porque?
MML – Só Deus sabe porque me abençoou só posso agradecer a ele. Acreditei que deixei tudo em suas mãos que ele entregou.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary at Lifestyles Magazine America you were introduced to the American and Canadian market. As a great and respected fashion design. Did you imagine that one day, this recognition would also be possible? Why?
MML – God only knows why he has blessed me I can only thank him I believed I left everything in his hands he delivered.

Eliana Oliveira – O que você pensa sobre o sucesso?
MML – Meu sucesso é retreinar meu cérebro em me educar em um estágio avançado, foi puro trabalho duro e acreditar que Deus iria entregar.
Eliana Oliveira - What do you think about success?
MML – My success is retraining my brain in educating myself at a late stage its been pure hard work and beleiving God would deliver.

Eliana Oliveira – O que você realmente considera sua maior conquista?
MML – Minha maior conquista foi ser convidada a fazer uma exposição no Museu VA em Londres, reunindo três Prefeitos neste ano de 2021 Sadik Karn / Prefeito de Londres, Daimian o Prefeito de Lewisham, Gerrard o Prefeito de Chelsea e Kensington e Deus abençoando minha vida.
Eliana Oliveira - What do you really consider your greatest achievement?
MML – My greatest Achievement was being asked to do a display at the VA museum in london metting three mayors this year 2021 Sadik Karn/ london mayor, Daimian the mayor of lewisham, Gerrard the mayor of chelsea and Kensington and God blessing my life.

Eliana Oliveira – Para você qual é o requisito necessário para entrar e viver no mundo da moda?
MML – Seja excêntrico e concentre-se.
Eliana Oliveira - For you what is the necessary requirement to enter and live in the fashion world?
MML – Be ecentric and focus.

Eliana Oliveira – Outra coisa que me encanta muito. É você unir a música a sua criação. Como é feita a escolha dessas músicas mixadas por você?
MML – A ideia de moda da faixa do MML pelo MML e foi escrita e produzida por Dejavu, um nigeriano também muito talentoso. Outras faixas foram da minha filha Celetia e do Dj Shak. Nunca me faltou ajuda.
Eliana Oliveira - Another thing that enchants me a lot. It's you joining the music with your creation. How is the choice of these songs mixed by you made?
MML – The MML track Fashion idea by MML and was written and produced by Dejavu a Nigerian also very talented
Other tracks were by my daughter Celetia and DJ Shak. I am never short from help.

Eliana Oliveira – Você é uma mulher incrível e muito positiva com os pés no chão em relação a própria vida. De onde vem essa força?
MML – A força vem de Deus Todo-Poderoso. Eu tive uma vida difícil e aumentar a força vem de ser abandonada e deixada em um lar infantil a única criança negra no estabelecimento branco.
Eliana Oliveira - You are an amazing woman and very positive with your feet on the ground in relation to life itself. Where does this strength come from?
MML – The strenght comes from God almighty. I have had a hard life and up bringing the strengh comes from being abandoned and left in a childrens home the only black child in the white establishment.

Eliana Oliveira – Eu realmente acredito em sonhos. Você já definiu suas jornadas de sonhos através dos reinos quintessenciais da criatividade. Como isso funciona para você?
MML – Conteúdo muito conteúdo é muito estranho, mas me sinto segura.
Eliana Oliveira - I really believe in dreams. You have already defined your deep dream journeys through the quintessential realms of creativity. How does this work for you?
MML – Content very content its very strange but i feel safe.

Eliana Oliveira – Existe uma força maior no universo para você? Quem?
MML – Deus é a maior força espiritual para mim ele sabe tudo desde o dia em que nascemos, ele conhece o nosso destino.
Eliana Oliveira - Is there a greater force in the universe for you? Who?
MML – God is the greater spiritual force for me he knows everything from the day we are born he knows our destination.

Eliana Oliveira – Eu sei em um momento da sua vida. Esteve muito doente mas, percebi que mesmo num momento tão delicado da sua vida. Você teve a força e a coragem de criar algo que ninguém nunca tinha visto antes. A coleção de Hidden Queens marcou a sua vida de alguma forma?
MML – É engraçado que peguei covid 19 eu fui das primeiras a entender, eu tinha loucos 9 vestidos da coleção Rainha escondida e o 10° vestido. Estava tão doente, mas eu sabia que tinha que terminar o vestido é por isso que o último vestido foi chamado de morte da rainha.
Eliana Oliveira - I know at a time in your life. He was very sick but I realized that even at such a delicate time in his life. You had the strength and courage to create something that no one had ever seen before. Did the Hidden Queens, collection affect your life in any way?
MML – Its funny I caught covid 19 i was one of the first to get it i had mad 9 dresses from the hidden queen collection and the 10th dress I| was so ill but I knew i had to finnish the dress thats why the last dress was called the death of the queen.

Eliana Oliveira – Sobre um sonho seu em ter um dia suas peças no Museu V&A continua vivo?
MML- Na verdade, me ofereceram um lugar para expor alguns vestidos lá. Estou tão animada que não é mais sonho, está se tornando realidade.
Eliana Oliveira - About a dream of yours, to have your pieces at the V&A Museum still alive?
MML – I actually been offered a place to display some dresses there I am so excited its no longer a dream its becoming a reality.

Eliana Oliveira – Percebo que muitas informações se transformam em grandes criações em suas mãos. A notícia de que alguns artefatos seriam devolvidos ao Reino de Benin, na Nigéria, da Grã-Bretanha. Isso a encorajou a fazer uma coleção especial?
MML – A coleção Hidden Queen 2017 foi inspirada nos Artefatos de Benin. Eu vi os Artefatos e Fui Profundamente Inspirada foi assim que criei a coleção Hidden Queen.
Eliana Oliveira - I realize that a lot of information turns into great creations in your hands. The news that some artifacts would be returned to the Kingdom of Benin, Nigeria, from Great Britain. Did it encourage you to make a special collection?
MML – The Hidden queen collection 2017 was inspired by the Artifacts of Benin I saw the Artifacts and WAS DEEPLY INSPIRED thats how I created the hidden queens collection.

Eliana Oliveira – Você acredita que suas criações, de certa forma, também podem significar uma homenagem aos seus ancestrais?

Eliana Oliveira - Do you believe that your creations, in a way, can also mean a tribute to your ancestors?
MML - I did the collection a tribute to my ancestors it was 2019 return to Africa 400 years. The collection was called blood sweat and tears check it out on www.marymartinlondon.com

Eliana Oliveira – Fale-me sobre a tribo Himba na Namíbia. O que você conseguiu extrair dessa pesquisa para sua coleção?
MML – É um reflexo da coleta de sangue, suor e lágrimas de 2019. Pesquisando a tribo Himba na Namíbia, havia muito corante de lama laranja e preto e muitos recursos naturais sendo usados, por isso usei laranja e preto para a coleção, pois era forte e poderoso os recursos naturais da terra.
Eliana Oliveira - Tell me about the Himba tribe in Namibia. What were you able to extract from this research for your collection?
MML – It is a reflection from the blood sweat and tears collection2019. Reasearching Himba and Namibia tribe there was a lot of mud dye orange and black and a lot of natural resourses beign used this is why I used orange and black for the collection as it was strong and powerful the natural earth resourses.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary me fale sobre as palestras motivacionais que você administra para jovens promissores a designers de moda?
MML – Tenho sido mentor com a sinergia urbana de um grupo de caridade inspirador para jovens que apoia a geração mais jovem. Inspirando-os a ter um bom desempenho quando saem da escola, falamos sobre as oportunidades quando saem da escola e também as obrigações de empregos que poderiam fazer.
Eliana Oliveira – Mary tell me about the motivational talks you run for up-and-coming young people to fashion designers?
MML – I have been mentoring with the urban synergy a youth inspirational charity group supporting the younger gerneration
Inspiring them to doe well when they leave school we talk about the oppotunities when they leave school and also obtions of jobs they could do.

Eliana Oliveira – Existe algum lugar em Londres que te inspira com novas criações?
MML – Maryland meu quarto, meu espaço criativo.
Eliana Oliveira - Is there any place in London that inspires you with new creations?
MML – Maryland my room, my creative space.

Eliana Oliveira – No Brasil temos muitos talentos na área de moda. Você admira algum estilista brasileiro? Quem?
MML – Não estou mais familiarizada com os designers brasileiro, mas vou pesquisar.
Eliana Oliveira - In Brazil we have many talents in the fashion area. Do you admire any Brazilian stylist? Who?
MML - I am not familier with the Brazilian designers but will research.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary você tem acesso as informações sobre o São Paulo Fashion Week. Que é a maior semana de moda do Brasil, e o que você acha deste mega evento?
MML – Acho que é um evento incrível que todos os designers deveriam experimentar.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary you have access to information about the São Paulo Fashion Week. Which is the biggest fashion week in Brazil, and what do you think of this mega event?
MML – I think it is an amazing event all designers should get to experience.

Eliana Oliveira – O São Paulo Fashion Week é o evento de moda mais importante da América Latina. Reúne grandes nomes do universo da moda, sejam estilistas e marcas brasileiras. Mary caso você recebesse um convite especial. A Mary Martin London poderia estrear nas passarelas brasileiras?
MML – Definitivamente seria uma honra enfeitar a passarela lá.
Eliana Oliveira - São Paulo Fashion Week is the most important fashion event in Latin America. It brings together big names in the fashion universe, being Brazilian stylists and brands. Mary in case you received a special invitation. Could Mary Martin London debut on the Brazilian catwalks?
MML – Definately it would be a honour to grace the catwalk there.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary ultimamente tenho visto que Londres está atualmente na vanguarda do mercado de moda industrial. Existe igualdade entre a London Fashion Week e a Paris Fashion Week para você? Porque?
MML – Acho que não, pois desde o susto que alguns designers perderam o zumbido criativo, é um novo mundo, um novo começo, você tem que mostrar novos pensamentos criativos daquela época, então nada igual agora.
Eliana Oliveira - Mary lately I have seen that London is currently in the forefront of the industrial fashion market. Is there an equality between London Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week for you? Why?
MML –I guess not as since the covid scare some designers have lost the creative buzz its a new world a new beginning you have to be showing new creative thoughts from that time so nothing ios equal right now.

Eliana Oliveira – Como você vê o conceito Slow Fashion neste momento?
MML – Eu gosto de Slow Fashion, é duradouro, é mais sustentável e de melhor qualidade.
Eliana Oliveira - How do you see the Slow Fashion concept right now?
MML- I enjoy slow fashion its long lasting its more sustainable and better quality.

Eliana Oliveira – Mary conhecer o Brasil está nos seus planos?
MML – Eu adoraria visitar o Brasil em algum momento no futuro.
Eliana Oliveira - Is Mary knowing Brazil in your plans?
MML – I would love to visit Brazil some time in the future.

Eliana Oliveira – Qual cidade você gostaria de visitar no Brasil?
MML – Rio de Janeiro.
Eliana Oliveira - Which city would you like to visit in Brazil?
MML – Rio de Janerio.

Eliana Oliveira – Angola também é um país rico em cultura ancestral. Você vê possibilidades de viajar para Angola?
MML – Angola é um lugar nos meus sonhos, sonhos podem se tornar realidade.
Eliana Oliveira - Angola is also a country rich in ancestral culture. Do you see possibilities to travel to Angola?
MML – Angola is a place in my dreams dreams can come true.
